Here is a somewhat start to finish project. I had some HO scale buildings and this one seemed to be okay for 28mm. The large doors act as small warehouse doors, just don’t look at the front door…it’s small! Other than that, it works well as a generic brick building.
The building was completely apart. It is made of some kind of very tough ceramic. I glued the first floor together with superglue onto a pressboard base. I then cut some foam core for the floors and roof pieces. Next I put down wood floors with stir sticks. I glued parts of sprues to the right level to allow for the building to be taken apart and place models on each floor and on the roof.
Finally, everything the base and roof had sand glued to it and was painted up. I tried to give the roof that asphalt roof look. It works well and the kids like it!
