It has been a very long time since I have posted up anything on the blog or made any YouTube videos. We had a big move to a new house last summer and between the packing, unpacking, and fixing up of the new place, there has been little to no time for hobby stuff. Finally, things are slowing down a bit and I have time to paint and play with my toy soldiers!
Here is the first miniature painted in the new house, an octopus from WizKids for my son. He has been asking me for at least a couple of months to paint it for him and now it’s finally done. He was delighted. It was revealed to him as a cake-topper for his birthday party. My first commission done, paid for in smiles. 🙂
I have a lot of ideas in the wings for future content. I’m busy with some new Eureka miniatures in their modern line. I will be playing Spectre Operations and I will also be trying out Empress’ Danger Close ruleset. Hopefully I will have some battle reports, miniature size-comparisons, and reviews up soon.
I’m glad to be back in the saddle. Happy gaming, everyone!

That is a great octopus. I look forward to seeing your modern stuff too.
Cheers,
Pete.
